Top 10 restaurants at Warwick University on a student budget

One of the many advantages of attending Warwick University are the student bars and restaurants on and around campus! Though it is difficult to narrow this list down to a top 10, here are restaurants available near Warwick University on a student budget! 


Canopy Restaurant 

Canopy has remained a staple of the university for many years, located at the heart of the campus.

Canopy specialises in breakfast and brunch, with a range of dishes available to suit all dietary requirements.  


The Dirty Duck 

The Dirty Duck is one of the most inexpensive spots on campus, whilst arguably the most entertaining.

Karaoke Wednesdays and weekly bingo events along with delectable pub-grub makes The Dirty Duck wildly popular.


Food Truck at the Piazza 

Where is the most delicious eatery on campus that adheres to a strict student budget? This luxurious spot is the food truck located in the Piazza.

The food truck offers countless, inexpensive options and may be the most popular establishment on campus, serving a range of food including vegetarian options from 7pm onwards you will not regret a visit!



Curiositea is a quaint, charming restaurant specialising in afternoon tea-style delicacies all day! 

There is a huge range of desserts available whether it be gluten free or vegan; Curiositea allows you to enjoy an indulgence no matter your requirements and whilst on a budget!



Varsity is located only 0.3 miles from campus and is known for its relaxed, fun atmosphere.

It emits a casual vibe during the day serving both breakfast and lunch and transforms into a night-out spot for nearby students, specialising in celebratory events.

It is an extremely popular venue on sports days, and it can be enjoyed on a student budget!


Pret A Manger 

Pret A Manger has been one of the most successful additions to the university campus, boasting breakfast, lunch and snack items that can be adapted to suit a gluten free or vegan diet, and it is open seven days a week!


Bubble Tea Shop 

There are various Bubble Tea Shop’s located a short journey from campus and they have become increasingly popular.

The university even has a Bubble Tea Society for true fans to get together and socialise over their love of the beverage, and of course you can indulge in this for extraordinarily little cost. 



Bar Fusion serves a range of Asian food including Chinese and Indian cuisine. It also features an array of alcoholic beverages, increasing its popularity among the student population.


Millsy’s Café Bar 

A short journey from Warwick University lies Earlsdon, a popular residential area among students and ideal for exciting bars and restaurants.

Millsy’s is a modern venue serving breakfast and lunch items and transforming into a student hot-spot in the evening, offering a variety of cocktails and regular live music.


NAIC Café 

NAIC Café has a lavish, contemporary design and offers delicious drinks and a delectable fusion of Texan and Mexican inspired street food items.
